Tips for insurance claims from recent storms.

If you’ve been affected by recent storms, we want you to know we’re here to help. We’re committed to giving exceptional customer service to relieve some of your stress during this challenging time.

In order for us to process your check, the following criteria must be met:

  • The full insurance adjusters report is provided.
  • A completed and signed Hazard Claim Affidavit is provided.
  • All payees have endorsed the check. This includes you and any third parties that may be listed as a payee (i.e., a public adjuster, attorney, other lien holder, etc.). We cannot process the check until all payees have endorsed.
  • Your mortgage loan number is written on the front of the check.

Documents should be emailed directly to our Hazard Claim team at MtgHazardClaims@arvest.com.

Your hazard claim check will be deposited into an interest-bearing account. Once all above items are received, we'll issue a disbursement check the next business day. The amount of disbursement will depend on the status of your loan at the time of loss. A Hazard Claim Processor will reach out if more info is needed. Checks will be mailed to you via standard mail. Please refer to the affidavit for further information regarding the handling of hazard claim checks.
